The last rites took place in Bharatpur amidst tight police security.

Bharatpur : Kripal Singh The last rites were performed in Jaghina on Tuesday, 5 days after the death of Jaghina’s father Rambharosi Sogarwal, who died on November 22 and the body was kept in the mortuary of RBM Hospital. His mortal remains were sent to the crematorium along with his family members in an ambulance at 12:30 pm from the mortuary of RBM Hospital.

At the time of the last rites, the deceased’s son Ravindra was brought to his home in Jaghina in a police vehicle, where he was kept under tight police security. Ravindra was granted one-day parole on Monday from the War Court to attend his father’s funeral. After which he came out of Ajmer High Security Jail at 11 in the morning.

Ravindra was brought to his village under police protection, where his father was cremated. During this time, Ravindra had a handcuff in his hand, the other end of which was held by the policeman. CO Akanksha Chaudhary, DST team and QRT team personnel were also present during the last rites.

Two sons are in jail in the murder case and there was no man in the house for the funeral. Rambharosi had three sons, the eldest of whom, Kripal Singh Jaghina, was murdered on 4 September 2022 due to rivalry and out of revenge, Jaghina was murdered. Kuldeep Singh was also murdered in police custody on July 12, 2023, while being brought to court by bus.
