The army team’s help had to be taken to catch the leopard. The forest department and the army team conducted a joint operation and caught the leopard. It is worth noting that the leopard was caught in a cage at the place where it had killed the woman.
How the leopard got trapped in the cage
The army and forest department team set up a big cage and sprayed fish water around it. Meat was also kept in the cage. Attracted by this, the leopard came into the cage on its own.

The teams also resorted to technology to catch the leopard. Drones were also used to track the leopard in the forests. Its pugmarks were also tracked. The team had set up cages at six places to catch the man-eating leopard.
