Barmer : A new twist has emerged in the case of a Pakistani citizen who crossed the barbed wire fence from Pakistan and entered India two days ago. The Pakistani citizen told the Border Security Force and the security agency during interrogation that he had gone to meet his girlfriend but when her family tried to catch him, he ran away from there in the dark of the night for fear of getting caught and crossed the barbed wire fence and entered the Indian border, due to which various security agencies are conducting joint interrogation. Pakistani citizen Jagsi son of Parshu Koli, who crossed the barbed wire fence and entered the Indian border, told the security agency during interrogation that his house is 35 kilometers away from the international border and his girlfriend’s house is in Pakistan, 8 kilometers away from the border. He had reached his girlfriend’s house with the intention of eloping with her but when the girlfriend’s family saw him, they tried to catch him.
After that he ran away with his girlfriend’s scarf and also attempted suicide by hanging himself from a tree, but the branch of the tree broke. After that, while running away in the fear of being chased by his girlfriend’s family, he lost direction and crossed the barbed wire fencing of the border and entered India. A mobile phone and 2 SIM cards were found with Pak citizen Jagsi, in which the security agencies found chats of his conversation with his girlfriend and her friends. Currently, the Border Security Force has handed over the youth to the Sedawa police station. The arrested Pak citizen Jagsi studies in Class 11. He knows and understands both Hindi and English well.
It is noteworthy that Jagsi son of Parshu Koli, a resident of Kharodi in Tharparkar district of Pakistan, crossed the fencing and entered the Indian border on Saturday night and reached Jhadapa village, 15 km from the border, on foot. Where the villagers found him suspicious and interrogated him, and he turned out to be a Pakistani citizen. After this, they informed the Sedwa police station and handed over the Pakistani citizen to the police. Meanwhile, regarding this entire matter, Barmer Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Meena says that the Pakistani citizen has been brought to Barmer district headquarters today for joint interrogation, where various security agencies are engaged in interrogating him intensively.
