Bharatpur : It is always said that it does not take much time for a person’s circumstances and time to change. Something similar has happened with Chetan Sharma, a resident of Deeg area of Bharatpur division of Rajasthan. He has been selected in the Under-19 cricket team, who is a right-arm fast bowler. Chetan originally hails from a small village Sahera in Kama subdivision. Today, Chetan Sharma is being congratulated a lot and people are talking about supporting him a lot. But there was a time when he did not even have money to pay the house rent. Sharma’s family has always been poor.
Chetan Sharma’s father was a priest
Chetan Sharma’s father Dushyant Pujari worked as a priest in a temple in Vrindavan. Chetan was fond of playing cricket since childhood. Gradually his interest in cricket increased even more. Due to his good performance in the game, Chetan participated in the trials of the District Cricket Association in Bharatpur. The people there selected him after seeing his brilliant game.
I didn’t even have money to buy a cricket kit
Chetan tells that he had to go to Bharatpur from the village for practice. He did not have money for rent to stay there, so he used to stay in a temple at his friend’s place and then go to the ground for cricket practice in the morning. He did not have enough money to buy a good cricket kit. In such a situation, the secretary of the association Shatrughan Tiwari helped Chetan at his own level.
Will shine against Australia
After being selected in Bharatpur, Chetan’s training took place in Delhi and Jaipur. During this time, Secretary Shatrughan Sinha also helped the boy a lot. Chetan’s father Dushyant says that he did not expect that his son would reach this position one day and that too due to cricket. Chetan will now be seen in the Under-19 cricket team’s series with Australia. Which will be held from 21 to 26 September. Three ODIs and two Test matches will also be played in the series. Chetan says that he is very happy that he has got a chance to play for India.
