Gurugram, December 1 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gaurav Vallabh spoke to IANS on Saturday. He reacted to the Congress Working Committee meeting, Congress leader Vijay Jagtap calling the Election Commission a “dog” and the violence that broke out in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.
After the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi asked the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge to take action. On this, Gaurav Vallabh said, “On one hand, Congress is saying that there is something wrong with the EVMs and yesterday in the CWC meeting they were admitting that the people of the country are not voting for them. Congress should first tell that the EVMs are fine. No. If it is not good in Wayanad, it is not good in Mumbai, but it is in the leadership and policies of the country. Today the party is behaving like the spokesperson of those creating obstacles. It has become the brand ambassador of the country’s opponents.”
Congress leader Bhai Jagtap has described the Election Commission as “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dog”. On this, the BJP leader said that on one hand, the child intelligence leaders of Congress hold the book of the Constitution in their hands. In that book, the Election Commission of India was written as an independent and impartial institution. On the other hand, their own leaders are using abusive language against the Election Commission. In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi does not have faith in the Constitution, if he had faith then the person who is using the word “dog” for the Election Commission today, Rahul Gandhi would have expelled him from his party right now. Rahul Gandhi does not believe in the Constitution but in only one thing, that is to create obstacles in the development of India and to speak like a brand ambassador of those who speak against India.
Violence broke out during the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. After this, Samajwadi Party leader Mata Prasad was stopped from going there. On this the BJP leader said, given the atmosphere there, the SP leaders would not have gone there to talk about peace. He might have gone to add fuel to the fire. Therefore, the administration stopped him under responsibility. If SP leaders had gone there and made statements, there would have been a fight between the two sides.
