Jaipur : The monsoon season which started on 2 September in Rajasthan is continuously active. Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in many parts of the state. Here, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rains for 7 districts in the Friday evening update. Under this, there is an alert of heavy rain in Jaipur, Dausa and Karauli districts. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued for about two dozen districts. Heavy rain is going to start in these districts
According to the update released by the Meteorological Department at 5 pm, there is a possibility of heavy rain in seven districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for the next three hours in districts including Jaipur, Jaipur city, Dausa, Karauli, Tonk, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur. Also, heavy rains may occur along with lightning at many places in these districts. Regarding this, the Meteorological Department has advised people to stay in safe places. Also, people have been asked to be cautious while traveling in waterlogged areas.
Light rain with cold winds in about two dozen districts
In the alert issued by the Meteorological Center on Friday evening, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in about two dozen districts. These include Alwar, Ajmer, Pali, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Baran, Kota, Jhalawar, Churu, Sikar, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Bikaner and Jaisalmer districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts. Under this, light to moderate rain may occur in these areas. The Meteorological Department has advised to take shelter in safe places during thunderstorms.

According to the Meteorological Department, the widespread effect of monsoon is being seen in the state on September 6, where moderate to heavy rain is occurring in many districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate rain and sometimes heavy rain is expected in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Bharatpur and Kota divisions on September 7. Similarly, on September 8 and 9, heavy rain will be seen in some parts of Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur divisions, where heavy rain is expected in these parts.
