Jodhpur : Jodhpur District Administration, JDA and Municipal Corporation once again presented a clean picture of the city by doing temporary patching of roads, cleaning and removing carts standing on the footpath before the arrival of the Chief Minister to hide their weak working style. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had come to the residence of Sursagar MLA Devendra Joshi on Tuesday to express condolences on the demise of his mother. When the Chief Minister’s program to come to Jodhpur was suddenly made, the officials of the administration and the Municipal Corporation became active. Earlier the Chief Minister’s program to come was at four in the afternoon. Engineers of Municipal Corporation South and JDA came on the roads. The work of patching of roads was started in a hurry from Dalle Khan’s mill to Canal Square and from Canal Square to the house of Sursagar MLA Devendra Joshi. Wherever there were potholes in the roads, they were temporarily repaired by pouring asphalt.
Stray animals caught
The stray animal team of the South Corporation caught the animals from Dalle Khan’s Chakki to the canal crossing. Whereas for the past few days, no action was being taken even after complaining about stray animals on these roads. Here, the corporation and JDA also corrected the plants planted on the dividers between the roads and cleaned them.
Engineers’ vehicles kept moving on the route
The vehicles of the corporation engineers kept moving on the route of the CM’s arrival. Many engineers were seen getting patching and cleaning work done at different points. Along with the engineers, CSIs also came out on the roads with their respective teams and were seen getting the roads cleaned. Apart from this, the carts standing on the footpath on Pal Road were also removed.
