The soldiers deployed on Jodhpur border are the protectors of the faith of 140 crore countrymen.

Jodhpur : Jodhpur The 60th foundation day of the Border Security Force (BSF), the country’s largest paramilitary force, will be celebrated on Sunday at the BSF Assistant Training Center in Mandore. Union Home Minister Amit Shah took the salute of the grand parade. This is the first time that the Foundation Day was celebrated at the BSF Frontier Headquarters in Jodhpur. Addressing the border guards, Shah said that the soldiers deployed on the border are the guardians of the faith and dreams of 140 crore countrymen. These soldiers will also have an invaluable contribution in the dream of a developed country in the year 2047. He said that the Vibrant Village Scheme has been started on an experimental basis in 3 thousand villages, which will later be implemented in all the villages situated on the border. The pilot project of Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System has been established in Dhubri. Its results are coming very good. After improvement in the results, it will be established on the Pakistan-Bangladesh border. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, BSF chief Daljit Singh Chaudhary, Rajasthan Frontier IG ML Garg, DIG Yogendra Singh Rathore were also present in the parade.

Glimpse of the country in the parade: Soldiers of Women Contingent, Kashmir, Jammu, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Nishan South Bengal, North Bengal, Guwahati, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram & Cachar, Artley, Communication and Camel Contingent participated in the parade. Indigenous helicopter MI saluted over the parade ground along with the national flag and the flag of the security forces.
