Nagaur : The entire town of Makrana in Nagaur district of Rajasthan is shedding tears after the death of four teenage children. The mourning is so much that even the stoves were not lit in anyone’s house. When the last rites of all the four children were performed together, everyone started crying. Let us tell you that the children lost their lives while saving each other from drowning.
All four played together everyday and now they died together
Khunkhuna police station’s SHO Devi Lal, who is investigating the entire incident, said that four children living in Kerap village have died. The four children were aged between 12 and 14 years. Their names are Bhupesh, Sahil, Shivraj and Vishal. All four were playing in the neighbourhood yesterday evening. During this time, they went towards the pond near the village. The pond was full due to rainwater. They went into the pond to take a bath and one by one they got stuck in the swamp.
The parents kept looking for their children crying throughout the night
When the family members went out to search for them at night, the children were not seen. Someone told that they had gone towards the pond late in the evening. When the information was given to the police, the police also reached the spot with the civil defense team at night. Everyone started searching together. In some time, the bodies of two children were recovered from the swamp. There was chaos in the family and the village. Despite searching the whole night, the other two children were not seen. The bodies of both were found stuck in the swamp at a considerable distance in the pond this morning. After conducting the post-mortem of all the four bodies, the bodies were handed over to the family in the afternoon. Everyone is shocked after this incident. The police said that all the four children were good friends since childhood, now all four have died together. All four used to go to school together.
25 people died in one month due to drowning in Rajasthan
It is noteworthy that during the rainy season, about 25 people have died in Rajasthan due to drowning in ponds and drains in just one month. Most of them are children who go to ponds and drains to bathe and have fun without informing their families. 7 children have died in the last 3 days.
