Jaipur : A heart touching incident happened recently in Nahargarh Biological Park of the capital Jaipur. When the tigress queen gave birth to 4 cubs. Unfortunately, one of the cubs was stillborn, while the other cub died the next day. The two cubs that survived were separated from their mother because their condition was extremely weak.
The remaining two cubs are being kept healthy by keeping them separate from their mother.
From then onwards the struggle between these two cubs started. Both the children did not give up and saved themselves by fighting against death. There is a lot of activity in the park due to these tiger and leopard cubs. The wildlife doctors and staff of the Biological Park worked hard day and night to take care of these cubs. He was given medicines and nutrition on time, due to which he is gradually recovering.

Senior wildlife expert Dr. Arvind Mathur said that taking care of these cubs and saving them is a big achievement. They were made to feel like their mother through a dummy, so that they could become mentally strong. Now these cubs have shifted to a bigger corral near the display area. Among these cubs, there is a white tiger cub, which Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has named Bheem. Whereas, the female cub has been named… Skandi.
Radha’s story is inspirational
The story of Radha, the female leopard cub in the park, is also inspiring. He was brought from the forest of Karauli district of Rajasthan when he was just 10 to 15 days old and weighed only 1200 grams. She was weak due to hunger and thirst. For his special care, special milk powder was ordered from America. Now Radha is completely healthy and strong and is seen playing and jumping in the rescue centre. A large number of people are coming to Nahargarh Biological Park to know the liveliness and struggle of these little cubs.
