Jaipur : Good news has come for the students waiting for student union elections in Rajasthan. Amidst the confusion regarding student union elections in the state, the Higher Education Department has released the annual calendar on Thursday. It mentions student union elections and office inauguration between July and September.
After the approval of the Raj Bhavan, the Higher Education Department has released the uniform model academy and holiday calendar on Thursday. After the release of the calendar, the student leaders agitating for the demand of student union elections have expressed happiness. The Higher Education Department has given information about the format from admission to results in the calendar. In such a situation, it is expected that the Rajasthan government can soon take a positive decision regarding the elections.
There is no election date in the calendar.
A special committee was formed by the Higher Education Department for the annual calendar. It has explained the process from annual admission to results of universities and colleges operating in the state. It also mentions semester examinations along with annual holidays. However, there is no date for elections in the calendar released by the Higher Education Department. Now it will depend on the notification of the Bhajan Lal government.
