The team that had gone to stop illegal mining in Alwar was attacked, the accused vandalized and took away the seized JCB-tractor.

Alwar : Villagers attacked the forest department team which had arrived to take action against illegal mining in village Raipura Bhal of Beat Kishori forest area. During this time, the accused freed the tractor and JCB machine seized by the Forest Department and took it with them. Forest workers gave a written complaint about the matter to the police. The police registered a case against the accused under various sections including creating obstruction in official work and started investigation.

Police said that in the report filed by Rajendra Sharma, Assistant Forester, Naka In-charge, Thanagaji Range, Sariska, it was said that on December 1, in compliance with the instructions of the Regional Forest Officer, Sariska, in a government vehicle at 8:30 pm, he went from Naka Thanagaji on Route No. 2. While patrolling from Jodhawas, he reached Udaynath Chowki. Along with four forest guards of Trainee batch from Udaynath post, they went on patrolling towards Raipura Kishori.

On the way, the sound of JCB was heard moving towards the hill near Raipura Bhal School. After which when the forest department team reached the spot, a JCB machine was found digging Morram boulders (mining) in the Beat Kishori forest area and two tractors were found standing. When the forest department team refused to allow the people to dig, they started fighting.

Along with the JCB machine present on the spot, Sachin son of Jayanarayan, Chetram son of Jairam, Pramod son of Sitaram, Nirmal alias Neeru son of Ramesh resident of Lahakabas and Ramkalyan son of Gaurisahay, Ashok son of Sheoram Gurjar, Krishna son of Ramkalyan Gurjar, Dholaram son of Ramkalyan Gurjar, Dipu son of Ramotar, Rajesh son of Ramswaroop, Rameshwar son of Gaurisahay Gurjar, Mukesh son of Ramswaroop Gurjar, Bholaram son Rameshwar surrounded the forest department team and vandalized the government vehicle with sticks.
