Bundi : Bullies captured the land of an elderly farmer in Bundi district of Rajasthan. When the elderly farmer demanded action from the police administration, the administration also did not listen to the farmer. After this, fed up with the threats from the bullies, the farmer climbed on the water tank of Dei town and started protesting against the administration. As soon as the farmer climbed the water tank, a huge crowd of people gathered. On receiving the information, all the administrative officers including the Deputy Superintendent of Police (SDM) reached the spot and consulted with the farmer.
Farmer stayed on water tank for 6 hours
The farmer was banging on the water tank for about 6 hours and demanding removal of encroachment on the land. After this, the administration sent a team to the spot and started the process of removing the encroachment by knowing the border, only then the farmer got down from the tank. The farmer says that after seeing the reports in this matter, he had repeatedly demanded action from the administration, but not a single thing of mine was listened to. After this, finally, fed up with all this, I was forced to issue a suicide warning to the administration.
Serious allegations of not taking action
Nainwa Deputy Superintendent of Police Raju Lal said that the farmer’s land and house were forcibly taken over by the land mafia gang in Chipalta village. After this, angry farmer Babu Lal Gurjar had climbed the water tank located on Gudha Samela Road of Dei town in the morning. During this, the family members including the farmer made serious allegations against the police for not taking action despite informing them in writing. After this, as the matter became serious, police was called from another police station.
The administration explained to the farmer
Along with this, Tehsildar Ramrai Meena also reached the spot and consulted with the farmer. After a long discussion between the administration and the victim farmer, the police administration went to the spot and assured to remove the encroachment and take appropriate action. After which the farmer got down from the tank. After which police and administration officials along with the farmer left the spot to see the situation at the farm in Chipalta village.
The farmer said he was most tired
Babulal Gurjar told in the memorandum that a teacher forms a gang of more than fifty people on Khatedari agricultural land in Chipalta and takes possession of the disputed property. He has bought a farm near the victim. They destroyed four bighas of rice, eight bighas of urad and soybean crops with sticks, axes, tractors in their hands. After this they tried to kill the farmer, but the farmer somehow saved his life by entering the house. After this, the matter was reported in Dei police station on October 21, but no action was taken by the police. Fed up with all this, the farmer took the step of committing suicide.
