Jaipur : the weather will change once again due to the activation of new Western Disturbance. There is a possibility of fog in 22 districts today and light mist and clouds during the day. Due to the effect of the system, there will be dense clouds across the state for the next 2 days. Rain alert was issued yesterday in all the districts except Hanumangarh, Pali, Sirohi. At some places, an alert was also issued for rain and hail along with thunder and lightning. After the recent rains in Rajasthan, the day has started getting colder after the night. In Bikaner, Churu, Mount Abu, Sriganganagar the mercury has fallen by 5 degrees Celsius below normal. Yesterday there was severe cold throughout the day due to fog, light fog and cold wind. The lowest temperature was recorded in hill station Mount Abu yesterday at 3.8 degrees. The temperature was 5.6 degrees Celsius in Sirohi, 8.5 in Sikar, 9.5 in Churu and 8.4 degrees Celsius in Bikaner.
Dense fog in Jhunjhunu:
There was dense fog in Jhunjhunu today due to which visibility became extremely low. Due to 20 meter visibility, drivers are facing a lot of trouble on the roads. The maximum temperature was recorded at 18 degrees, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees. Gusts of cold winds from the north are still continuing.
Jodhpur winter continues even today:
The scourge of winter continues even today in Jodhpur. People are getting worried due to continuous increase in cold. Today Suryanagari was seen wrapped in fog. These days, the city of lakes Udaipur is in the midst of fog. Dense fog is present from the plains to the mountains. There is dense fog on National Highway 48 also. Due to which the speed of vehicles has slowed down. There is also fog on Udaipur-Banswara Mega Highway, Udaipur-Pindwara Highway and Jaipur-Udaipur road. Cold winds also chilled the rural areas from Udaipur city. In such a situation, there is a possibility of the mercury falling further.
Vehicles braked due to dense fog in Fatehpur Shekhawati:
Due to dense fog in Fatehpur Shekhawati, brakes of vehicles have been applied. Today the minimum temperature of Fatehpur Shekhawati was recorded at 6.5 degrees. Due to the effect of western disturbance, cold wave is going on with covered clouds. People are taking help of bonfire to protect themselves from cold.
