Kota : A case of theft has come to light in a shopping mart in Dadabadi area of Kota. The fearless criminal easily committed the theft. The criminal escaped after stealing Rs 1 lakh cash, 5 grams of gold coins and 400 grams of saffron. The theft incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the mart. Police officers reached the spot today on the information of the mart manager. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the manager.
Yash Gupta, associated with the Mart, said – The incident happened between 2.30 to 3 o’clock in the night. The unknown miscreant reached the first floor from the back side of the mart. Then he broke the iron gate and entered inside. The scoundrels searched the counters of the mart. Stolen cash from the wallets. Also took 1 gold coin of 2 and 1 gram. Apart from this, 400 grams of saffron was also stolen. The theft incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the mart. The miscreant stole only the essential items. DSP Yogesh Sharma said – A case has been registered on the complaint of the manager. The incident happened late at night. CCTV footage installed in and around the mart is being scrutinized.
