Jaipur : After the Supreme Court’s decision to give quota within quota to the reserved category Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and to end the reservation of creamy layer, while various political parties are confused about its implementation, there are two opinions about this decision in the Bharat Adivasi Party. Bharat Adivasi Party has expressed disagreement with this decision, while BAP’s Sailana MLA Kamleshwar Dodiyar has welcomed this decision.
Bharat Adivasi Party does not agree with this
After the Supreme Court’s decision, Bharat Adivasi Party wrote on social media, ‘We disagree with the 6:1 decision on reservation given by the seven collegium judges of the Supreme Court because it is impossible for any reservation decision to be just without SC/ST representation in the “Indian Judiciary Service” entrance exam and judiciary. The genetic descendants of those whose ancestors are guilty of historical social injustice cannot provide social justice without prejudiced discrimination. Despite there being no case of Scheduled Tribes in the Supreme Court, Scheduled Tribe reservation has been forcibly added, this is indicative of the cunning mentality of immigrants.’
Sailana MLA welcomed the decision
At the same time, Madhya Pradesh’s Sailana MLA Kamleshwar Dodiyar from Bharat Adivasi Party has posted on social media that we welcome this decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. This decision will give rights to the children of extremely poor working class. At the same time, there will be no harm to the rights of the children of tribal Dalit officers and employees.
‘We are against this politics of division’
While Banswara-Dungarpur Lok Sabha constituency MP Rajkumar Roat and other MLAs have not yet expressed their opinion on this, but Bharat Adivasi Party’s national spokesperson Jitendra Meena has written that the stand of Bharat Adivasi Party is very clear. We are against this politics of division of RSS between tribals and Dalits and they are filing a review petition on the Supreme Court’s decision against classification in the ST list.
