Jaipur : Heavy rains continue in Rajasthan. The situation is such that there is a deluge in the state. Rivers, ponds and dams are overflowing with water. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rains. Heavy rains are also falling in the northern part of Rajasthan. Heavy rains also occurred at some places in Jaipur, Udaipur, Banswara and Dungarpur districts. IMD has predicted rain at some places in Kota, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions on August 28.
The deep depression system formed over southern Rajasthan has gradually moved towards the west and reached over the northern parts of Gujarat. There is a strong possibility of it gradually moving towards Saurashtra, Kutch region in the next 48 hours. According to IMD, there is a possibility of intermittent moderate rain and heavy rain at some places in some parts of Udaipur, Jodhpur division during the next 48 hours along with strong winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
Some parts of Bikaner, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer divisions are also likely to receive moderate to heavy rains with thundershowers in the next 2-3 days. Rainfall activities are likely to increase again in eastern Rajasthan from August 31 and heavy rain activities are likely to be recorded in the first week of September.
IMD has issued a yellow alert regarding heavy rains, thunderstorms and strong winds in Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Barmer, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jodhpur, Sri Ganganagar. Talking about the weather of the capital Jaipur, there is a possibility of rain with thunder on August 28.
