According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of drizzle and light rain at isolated places in Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara and Pratapgarh districts today. The department has issued a yellow alert for all these districts.
Farmers’ increased concern
On the other hand, due to the influence of eastern wind, the weather changed again in Hadoti region after 15 days. Farmers’ worries increased due to cloudy sky and drizzle. It is cloudy and drizzling in Kota city for the last three days. On Friday also it remained cloudy throughout the day and it drizzled in the evening. Due to this, the heartbeats of the farmers increased. Farmers say that these days harvested crops are lying in the fields. Also, there are piles of commodities lying in the open in Bhamashah Mandi. If it rains, there will be a possibility of damage to the crops.
Farmers have made arrangements for tarpaulins and other resources to protect their crops from rain. Now, due to cloud cover and drizzle, slight coolness is being felt at night. A drop in temperature was also recorded. The maximum temperature of Kota city fell by 1 degree to 32.5 and the minimum temperature increased by 2 degrees to 25.2 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the influence of easterly winds, some parts of Udaipur, Kota, Jodhpur divisions of Southern Rajasthan are likely to remain cloudy for the next three-four days and there is a possibility of light and moderate rain at some places along with thunder. The department has also issued an alert for this.
