There is no security arrangement for the villagers and cattle herders living near Jhunjhunu Lohargal forest area.

Jhunjhunu : Jhunjhunu State Government and Forest Department released animals ranging from small wild animals to leopards and other animals in many forest areas and many types of announcements were also made in the name of Jungle Safari. But neither the administrative officials, nor the forest department officials, nor the public representatives showed seriousness regarding the safety of the settlements located in the populated lands of these forest areas and the farmers and animal herders from the wild animals. For this reason, many times leopards and other carnivorous wild animals attack sheep, goats and other domestic animals and humans in the settlements and fields near these forest areas. For this reason, people of dozens of villages including Udaipurvati, Chirana, Loharda, Rampura, Golyana, Pahadila, Kirori, Sakrai, situated near the hills of Lohargal, always live in fear due to wild animals. Therefore, the administration and forest department should pay attention to this and get a strong net around the forest area. So that the animals roaming in the forest areas can escape from the attacks of humans and the people living near the forest areas and the domesticated animals can remain safe from the carnivorous wild animals. It is worth noting that none of the range offices of the Forest Department in the entire Shekhawati region has a tranquilizer gun to rescue wild animals.

Panic persists even in government schools and colleges running near forest areas.

Government Higher Secondary School, Government Senior Upadhyaya Sanskrit Vidyalaya and Government Acharya Sanskrit College are running on Lohargal Road in Chirana. Behind these institutions, exotic acacia and kikar are spread over a large area. In which many times wild animals come and hide from the hills. Because of this, students coming to school and college are always at risk of attack by wild animals. Forest Department and Public Works Department should get these kikars growing on both sides of the common road cut.
