This time he has set out on the 12th pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave situated at an altitude of 3,880 meters. Anand Singh is part of the third batch of 6,000 pilgrims. His batch has left from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu to participate in the annual Amarnath pilgrimage.

Anand Singh could not go on Amarnath Yatra three times due to this reason only

Anand says that since losing both legs, he could not go on the pilgrimage only three times. The first time he could not go was due to the flood in Kedarnath in 2013. While the second and third time he had to cancel the journey due to the Kovid epidemic. His devotion is so pure that now both his weak legs have become his strength.
