There is talk in the political circles that there will be a major reshuffle in the Bhajan Lal cabinet before the by-elections on 7 assembly seats in Rajasthan. During his recent visit to Delhi, CM Bhajanlal Sharma had discussed this issue with many senior party leaders including BJP President JP Nadda. CM Bhajanlal Sharma had met BJP national president JP Nadda, Union ministers Prahlad Joshi and CR Patil in New Delhi on October 3. 6 new ministers can be made
According to the rules, only 15 percent of the total MLAs can become ministers. There are 200 members in the Rajasthan Assembly. In such a situation, a total of 30 ministers including the Chief Minister can be made. At present there are 24 ministers including the Chief Minister. In such a situation, six posts of ministers are still vacant. Apart from this, no decision has been taken yet on the resignation of Kirori Lal Meena.
These MLAs may get a chance
MLAs who do good work in their constituencies can be included in the cabinet. At the same time, regional and caste equations will also be simplified, so that BJP can get benefit in the by-elections to be held on 7 assembly seats. However, new MLAs from East Rajasthan, Shekhawati and Vagad are more likely to be made ministers. There is discussion in the political circles that 6 MLAs out of Gurveer Singh, Jaideep Bihani, Srichand Kripalani, Pushpendra Singh, Adooram Meghwal, Hansraj Meena, Ramvilas Meena and Govardhan Verma can be included in the cabinet.
Promotion to ministers doing good work
Ministers who do good work during cabinet expansion may get promotion. Whereas, the departments in which satisfactory work has not been done. Those ministers can be dropped from the cabinet. The market of speculation is hot after Kirodilal’s resignation from the post of minister. Even after almost four months, no decision has been taken on Kirori’s resignation. In such a situation, there is discussion that his department may be changed.
