There should be deep discussion on population control: Chirag Paswan

Patna, December 2 (IANS). National President of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP Ram Vilas) and Union Minister Chirag Paswan reacted to the statement of Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday. Apart from this, he also gave his opinion on the ‘Worker’s Samvad Yatra’ of Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav.

Responding to Mohan Bhagwat’s statement, Chirag Paswan said that this is a very important and serious topic, which should be considered and discussed. The concern expressed by Mohan Bhagwat is a technical issue. The fertility rate is continuously declining and it has become a matter of concern.

He further said that nowadays the fertility rate should be around 2.1, but it has fallen considerably. Mohan Bhagwat has expressed concern about this issue and I think there should be a deeper discussion on this. When it comes to the human species, it is necessary to ensure that no species is threatened. Therefore this issue should be considered seriously.

Chirag Paswan also gave his reaction on the upcoming Karyakarta Samvad Yatra of Bihar’s Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav is going to set out on the third phase of his Karyakarta Samvad Yatra from December 4. On this, Chirag Paswan said that there is a big difference in Tejashwi Yadav’s journey. When Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is in power in Bihar, he thinks of staying connected with the public and his door is always open for the public. He maintains contact with the public even while being in power.

He further said that when he was in power, his door used to be closed for the public, and now that he is in the opposition, he misses the public. This is a contradiction. One should connect with the public while being in power, and this beauty is in our Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who maintains connection with the public even while being in power.
