Jaipur : A fight broke out between two policemen in civil dress and cafe workers at a cafe located at Gopalpura bypass on Friday night. An acquaintance of the cafe owner accused the policemen of misbehaving. A scuffle broke out on the road between the policemen and the cafe owners. On receiving the information, Bajaj Nagar police station reached the spot and took both the parties to the police station.
Policemen accused of misbehavior
The policemen alleged that there was information about selling liquor in the cafe. However, the cafe owners said that as soon as the policemen arrived in civil dress, they started misbehaving. When they asked for ID, they did not show it. Seeing the ruckus, a crowd gathered on the road. On receiving the information, Bajaj Nagar police station took both the parties to the police station and till late night, the two parties were trying to convince each other.
Police is investigating the matter
On the other hand, the cafe owners said that one of the policemen was SI Phoolchand. As soon as he came to the cafe, he misbehaved with Akash Mehta who was working there. He also beat up Akash’s acquaintance Baljeet who had reached there. DCP Kavendra Sagar said that ACP Aditya Poonia is investigating the case. He was talking to both the parties late at night and gathering information about the case. The reasons for the fight will be known only after the situation becomes clear.
