Jaisalmer : There was a stir among the administration and local people after a suspicious bag was found in Jaisalmer Fort of Rajasthan on Thursday (26 September) night. Residents of Durg told that late at night a bike rider was carrying this bag, during which the bag fell down. He did not stop the bike when called out. When the residents of Durg searched, a suspicious diary along with Pakistani coins was found inside the bag. In which there was a stir among the residents of Durg after seeing the mention of airport and hotel ‘flying’ in bad handwriting. The police was informed about the suspicious bag. Police have seized the suspicious diary and visiting card found inside the bag.
Police arrested a suspect
City Kotwal Sawai Singh said, “Many things have been written in the diary with pencil. In these things like flying to airport, flying to hotel etc. are written incompletely. The bag has been seized and the contents of the diary are being investigated along with the search for its owner. A young man has been arrested in this case. The youth is being interrogated regarding the things written in his diary. The name of the arrested youth is Ishaq Khan who is a resident of Phalodi Rajasthan. Lives in Jaisalmer and works as a labourer.” Police said that the young man is a drug addict. He is not able to answer properly regarding the things written in the diary.
Threatening letter was found in Pokaran
It is noteworthy that recently, during the fair in the famous Ramdevra of the district, a threatening letter was recovered at Pokaran railway station. In which there was a threat to blow up the Ramdevra temple with a bomb. In it, there was talk of a bomb being placed in a cloth horse offered in Baba’s temple. After which the police swung into action and investigated the entire temple and surrounding premises and also inspected the cloth horses by keeping them outside. However, during investigation, the letter was proved to be just a threat.
