There was a stir due to the death of four crocodiles in the famous Chandraloi river of Kota, no injury marks were found in the post mortem report.

Kota : The concern of wildlife activists has increased due to the death of four crocodiles in the last two days in Chandraloi river passing through Kota district of Rajasthan. He attributed these deaths to ‘high level pollution’ in the river. Officials said that crocodiles have been listed in Schedule-1-C of the Wildlife Protection Act.

There were no injury marks on the crocodile’s body
Veterinarians have blamed suspected poisoning for the death of a 15-year-old female crocodile. His post-mortem was conducted here on Wednesday. He said that no sign of any internal or physical injury or disease was found on the body of the female crocodile.

The remains of a seven-foot long female crocodile were recovered
Officials said that the remains of a female crocodile, about seven feet long, were recovered from a tributary of Chambal river in Ramkhedi village near Chandrashel Math on Tuesday. Officials said that the remains of three other crocodiles, two of which were 10 years old and one was nine years old, were found at the same place on Saturday and Sunday.
