Sirohi : Another case of marriage fraud has come to light from Sirohi district of Rajasthan. The groom is making rounds of the court and the police station. Sometimes he goes to his in-laws’ house and is chased away from there. After the court’s intervention, a case has now been registered in Revdar police station of Sirohi district.

Police said that a youth named Vikram, who lives in the police station area, got married a few days ago. Some distant relatives of the family had arranged this marriage. ₹300000 were given to the bride’s family by claiming that she was poor and apart from that, jewellery worth one lakh rupees was made separately for the bride. Apart from this, Vikram also bore the cost of food for about 100 people of the bride’s side.
The bride started the drama of Suhagrat
When Vikram and his bride reached home after the wedding, the bride said that she had made a vow and until that vow is not fulfilled, she will not be ready for the Suhaagraat. The bride told the groom that she will tell him about the vow only after 6 days when it will be fulfilled. Vikram supported his bride, but he did not know what was going to happen after 6 days.
6 days after marriage the bride showed her true colors
For 6 days, the bride surveyed the entire house and found out where all the valuables were kept. In 6 days, she collected all the valuables stealthily and then went to her parental home in the name of meeting her mother. When Vikram went to pick up the bride the next day, the family refused to send her along. Vikram felt that he has been cheated. He approached the police, but the police did not register a case. Later, after the court’s intervention, a case has been registered.
