There was shouting in the wedding house, silence spread after the death of the bride’s cousin.

Dausa : Kailashchand Meena, a resident of Mandir Wali Dhani of Ladpura village of Lalsot subdivision of Dausa, was earning his living by running a tea shop on Lalsot-Kothun Highway and the life of his family with three daughters and two sons was happy – Was dying with happiness. Kailash had married one of his sons some time ago and now he wanted to happily fulfill his responsibilities by marrying his elder daughter Beena alias Safedi. For this, the daughter was settled in village Bhagwatpura of Niwai subdivision of Tonk district and the date of marriage ceremony was fixed as 18th November. For many days there was happiness in the family, auspicious songs were being sung.

Finally, that auspicious day arrived on Sunday and the procession reached Ladpura village. Late in the evening, on one hand Kailash and his family were busy welcoming the wedding guests and welcoming the wedding procession and the wedding procession had also reached near the house. MLA Rambilas Meena also arrived at the wedding to bless the newly married couple and was also sitting and discussing with the villagers. About 200 meters away, on the Lalsot-Kothun highway, the wedding procession was full of happiness and was dancing and singing amid loud fireworks, but whatever happened there during this period eclipsed the happiness of Kailash and all his family members. When the news of the death of the bride’s cousin Golu Meena reached late at night, the atmosphere became sad and somehow the family completed the marriage rituals of their daughter and sent her off to her in-laws’ house.

There was a scene of fear even after 12 hours

When the Patrika team reached Dhani of Ladpura village at 8 am on Monday, a scene of fear was seen. Where the car ran over people in an empty plot near the road, many parts of the damaged car were lying broken. The shoes and slippers of the people who ran away while trying to save their lives were scattered. The contents of the tent set up for the wedding at Kailash Meena’s house had almost been unpacked. The family members were getting disappointed again and again while giving information about the incident.
Cousin dies, condition of two is critical

A total of 9 people were injured when a driver crushed people with a car during a wedding ceremony in Ladpura village on Sunday night. Out of these, 7 injured were referred from the district hospital to Dausa and Jaipur at night due to serious injuries. Of these, the bride’s cousin Golu Meena (22), son of Vinod Meena, died during treatment in a private hospital in Jaipur at night. Family members say that the condition of the bride’s aunt’s son Yograj Meena, son of Meghraj Meena, resident of Raimalpura and cousin Ramavatar, son of Nathulal is critical. In this incident, Vishram son of Nangram resident of Jhampada, Mukesh son of Nathulal, Lucky son of Hanuman, Deepak son of Ramsahay, Shokin Meena and Suresh Meena were injured. Everyone except Shaukeen and Suresh is under treatment. When Golu Meena’s body was brought on Monday afternoon, everyone in Dhani cried.

The wedding guests beat the deaf and mute youth with a belt

The bride’s cousin Suresh Meena told that when the wedding procession was coming in from the road, the deaf and mute Chhota was asking the vehicles to move to the side of the road. Meanwhile, some drunk wedding guests started beating him with belts. On getting information about the incident, he and others reached the spot and tried to calm the matter. During this time, the injured were being seated in the vehicle to be taken to the hospital, when the vehicle ran over them. He doesn’t remember anything about what happened after this. After regaining consciousness, complete details of the incident were received in the hospital.

Car recovered, one person in custody

Additional Superintendent of Police Dinesh Aggarwal said that this incident took place after a dispute regarding parking of a vehicle in Ladpura village. During the post-mortem of Golu Meena in Jaipur, the family members have given an FIR, which will be registered and action will be taken as per rules. Police recovered the car and detained one person. At night, police station officer Ramniwas Meena remained deployed at the spot along with police Japte. District Collector Devendra Kumar reached Dausa District Hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured.
