Jaipur : The reputation of leaders of BJP, Congress and regional parties is at stake in the by-elections being held on seven seats in Rajasthan. The victory or defeat in the by-elections will not have any impact on the state government, but its impact will definitely be seen on the stature of the leaders. The results of these seven seats are the same twice and if this time the results are different then it is certain that the image of the big leaders of the party who will lead the state will be more or less. In order to increase their stature, leaders of BJP, Congress and regional parties are trying their best to ensure victory for their respective party candidates.
The onus will be on these leaders
In BJP, the entire responsibility of by-election is on Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, State President Madan Rathod, Admission in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal. The three leaders are continuously working on strategy for every seat. All the work from panel making to ticket selection has been done by these three only. After not getting the expected results in the Lok Sabha elections, now the by-elections being held on seven seats are very important for the BJP. In the by-elections, the credibility of Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot. is at stake. Congress is contesting elections in the state only on the basis of these leaders. Dotasara had also not said yes to the alliance with regional parties during the by-elections and Congress has not formed an alliance with anyone. In such a situation, this by-election is being considered most important for Dotasara.
The credibility of these leaders in BJP is at stake
Dausa: Jagmohan Meena, brother of Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena, has been given ticket from here. Even in the Lok Sabha elections, Meena was contesting from Dausa seat, but BJP lost this seat. Now his reputation is at stake by giving ticket to his brother.
Ramgarh: This assembly seat falls in the Lok Sabha seat of Alwar Lok Sabha MP and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav. Yadav is considered a player in election management, now here is his test.
Question of reputation of these leaders in Congress
Jhunjhunu: This has been a stronghold of Congress. Brijendra Ola has been elected MLA from here for four consecutive times.
After being elected MP from Jhunjhunu, his son Amit Ola has been fielded here. Brijendra’s father
Shishram Ola has also been an MP-MLA from here for a long time.
Deoli-Uniara: It is a big responsibility for MP Harish Meena to make Congress win the elections on Deoli-Uniara seat. He has played a role in preparing the panel and finalizing the tickets.
Big challenge for regional parties
Khinvsar: The reputation of MP Hanuman Beniwal from here is at stake. Beniwal was elected MP. Because of this this seat became vacant. He has made his wife Kanika Beniwal a candidate. If RLP does not win this seat then RLP will not have any MLA in the assembly. Also, it will have a direct impact on Beniwal who has been doing politics on his own for a long time.
Chaurasi, Salumber: Both these seats are important for MP Rajkumar Rot. Rot became MLA from eighty-four seats on the symbol of BAP and then became MP. BAP has fielded candidates on both the seats.
