Mumbai, November 17 (IANS). The slogan ‘If you divide, you will be divided’ is being heard in the ongoing campaign for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Now the reaction of Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari has come to light regarding this slogan.
Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, in a special conversation with IANS on Sunday, said, “This slogan is appropriate, because an Indian who is a patriot should be united. In Haryana, you all saw how the patriotic public failed the exit poll. In the country All future elections will be held on this slogan.”
Talking about the appeal by Maulvis to vote in support of Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra, Suvendu Adhikari said, “Maulvis know what they have to do. They take all the benefits of development on the basis of their authority for four years and eleven months. Be it toilet, housing or PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, he takes these things first, but when elections come, he calls BJP a Hindutva party. After this, Owaisi comes to Hyderabad to stop BJP. Will vote for Congress in Secunderabad and DMK in Tamil Nadu. Here also they have only one agenda, so everyone has accepted Yogi ji’s slogan.
Referring to Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators, he said, “This is a big challenge for the country, there are 72 such places in Bengal. Where there is no fencing on the border. Stone pelting takes place during Hanuman Jayanti in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri. Abdul Mannan, accused of sex racket in Indore, is also a Bangladeshi.”
