Even today, light to heavy rains are expected in many districts. The Meteorological Department has issued a double alert of heavy rain in many districts of Rajasthan for three hours. In such a situation, heavy rains may occur in many districts by 4 pm today.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of intermittent light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places in Dungarpur, Banswara districts of Rajasthan. Heavy rains may also occur here along with strong winds. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in the capital Jaipur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Chittorgarh, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Udaipur, Nagaur, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sikar, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Bundi, Baran, Kota districts. Here IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain. In such a situation, heavy rain may occur in many districts by 4 pm today.
Rajasthan’s weather will be like this in the coming days
According to the Meteorological Department, the deep depression formed over south-eastern Rajasthan has today slowly moved westwards and reached southern Rajasthan and the surrounding areas. In such a situation, there is a strong possibility of the monsoon moving towards Kutch-Saurashtra region via southern Rajasthan and the surrounding Gujarat region in the next two-three days.
We will have to face torrential rain in the coming days
In such a situation, there is a strong possibility of heavy to very heavy and sometimes very heavy rain, strong winds of 40-50 Kmph in the southern parts of Udaipur, Jodhpur division today. Heavy and sometimes very heavy rain activities with strong winds are likely to continue in the southern parts of Udaipur, Jodhpur division on 27 August as well. There is a strong possibility of heavy rain at some places in south-western Rajasthan on 28 August and a decrease in heavy rain activities in most of the remaining parts. A few rounds of light to moderate rain may be recorded in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Bikaner divisions in the next two days.
