Churu : Churu: After scattered rains in the third round of monsoon, the Churu district is reeling under intense heat and humidity for the past two days. People became miserable due to the highest humidity last night. Coolers and fans failed due to the highest humidity of the season. People could not even get a peaceful sleep at night. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Churu, Sikar and Jhunjhunu districts for the next four-five days. The weather remained clear in Churu on Thursday. There was some relief due to cloud cover in the evening. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at -41.6 and the minimum temperature was -30.3.

According to the Meteorological Department, at present a low pressure area is formed in the Bay of Bengal and the monsoon trough line is passing through parts of southern Rajasthan. Due to which rain activities are likely to continue in some places of eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. There is a possibility of increase in rain activities in eastern Rajasthan on 20-21 July and heavy rains at some places in Kota and Udaipur divisions. Thunderstorms and rain activities are likely to continue in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions in the coming days.
