Jaipur, November 19 (IANS). In the by-election held on November 13 in Samravata village of Devli-Uniara assembly seat of Tonk district of Rajasthan, there was a huge disturbance in the area after an independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped the SDM. The villagers had set many vehicles on fire. After this Naresh Meena was arrested by the police. Rajasthan government minister Jawahar Singh Bedham has responded in this matter. He said that no injustice will be allowed to the people of Samravata village in this matter.
Speaking to IANS, he said, “Three ministers of the government have discussed this matter in depth. Positively, the points made by the delegation that came to us were justified. The Chief Minister has also clearly said that whatever steps the government can take in public interest, we should take them. We will not allow any injustice to be done to the people of Samravata village. Strict action will be taken against those who are guilty and those who are innocent will not be allowed to be trapped. This is this conspiracy of the opposition, and all this is the result of their actions.”
He further said, “When they created subdivisions and districts, they added these villages to remote subdivisions, which led to this situation and resulted in fights. This is not a caste dispute; The culprits have committed a crime and appropriate action will be taken against them.”
Let us tell you that earlier in this matter, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kirori Lal Meena had also said that the government will compensate for the loss caused during the disturbance.
He had told IANS, “In this matter it has been decided that whatever loss has been caused, the government will compensate it. This entire matter will be investigated by a higher official, such as a Commissioner level person. Apart from this, out of the villages which were in Deoli area, there was a demand of about 28 villages that they should be shifted to Uniara. As per their demand they will be included in Uniara. It will be ensured that innocent people are not harassed.”
