Jaipur : There will be storage of surplus electricity in Rajasthan. It will cost Rs 1000 crore. A grant of Rs 270 crore will be given. Power storage systems are being installed to overcome the power crisis. RVUNL has considered the project cost as Rs 1 crore per MW hour. According to this, it will cost Rs 1000 crore for 1000 MW hour. Out of this, an assistance of Rs 270 crore will be received from the Center in the form of VGF. At present, the corporation has invited tender on build-on-operate model. In which the service provider company itself will have to set up and operate the plant. In return for this, he will be paid per unit rate in addition to VGF.
