Shri Jagdish Temple Udaipur – Idol of Lord Vishnu is made of black stone
Shri Jagdish Mandir Udaipur is based on Indo-Aryan architectural style. Its architecture is so beautiful that one cannot take eyes off it. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Maharana Jagat Singh built this temple. This temple was completed in 1651. It is a three-storey temple. The peak of this temple is about 79 feet tall. This temple has been built with stones in Mewar style. It is said that Shri Eklingji is the ruler of Mewar and the main deity of the Rajputs. Originally the temple here belonged to the Lakulish sect.
