Jaipur : The hope of getting Bisalpur water for thousands of people living in multi-storey houses in Jagatpura area of the capital Jaipur is going to be fulfilled soon. For this, the construction of 7 tanks has been completed under the Bisalpur Jagatpura Phase-2 project costing Rs 70 crore. It is believed that on Diwali, the government will give the gift of water connection from Bisalpur system to more than 100 multi-storey houses built in Jagatpura area under Phase-2. According to estimates, more than 80 thousand people are living in these multi-storey houses. Now special permission will be taken from the District Collector to lay the pipeline so that the work of laying the distribution system is completed in the month of August-September and then the process of issuing water connection can be formally started on Diwali.
Tanks built here under Phase-2
Under Bisalpur Phase-2, tanks have been built in Jaipur’s Zerota, Bank Colony, Bosch Colony, Shiv Officers Colony, Prem Sagar Colony, Nandan Enclave, Royal Enclave. The construction work of the tank in Bajrang Deep Colony will be completed soon.
This is how you have to apply
Under the new water connection policy, the Resident Welfare Society will have to apply in the Superintending Engineer’s office. Concession in connection charges will also be given as per rules. Water connections for Jagatpura area will be issued at the Malviya Nagar Executive Engineer level.
