Udaipur : The situation has become serious due to seasonal diseases in the tribal area of Udaipur district of Rajasthan. In Devla’s Ghata Gram Panchayat, 17 people have died in the last one month, most of which include children. This situation has become a matter of concern for the villagers and people are seeing it as a mysterious disease.
People are dying due to lack of medical facilities
Local people say that lack of medical facilities is also a major reason for the worsening of the situation. Recently, the death of another innocent child has further increased this horrific situation. Sarpanch Nikaram Garasia has informed the administration about this serious issue. According to the villagers, treatment of diseases is not possible immediately and they are not able to understand what kind of disease it is.
Health department took charge after the situation worsened
The medical department has now come into action and medical camps have been organized in 4 villages of Ghata Panchayat. Deputy CMHO Deepak Jain said that a medical team has also been sent from Kotra, which is treating patients from door to door. More than 400 patients have been treated so far, but the situation is not improving.
Now quack doctors have gone underground
Meanwhile, all the quack doctors in the area have gone underground and many medical clinics are locked. It is being said that most of these are Bengali people, who claim to be treated through English medicines and herbs and call themselves doctors. It is he who has run clinics and hospitals in rooms. Most of the villagers take treatment from them, but now sudden deaths have started happening. 17 people have died in just one month. Most of whom are children. Everyone had taken treatment from these fake doctors.
There is abundance of quacks in rural areas
It is noteworthy that the condition of rural areas is not good in most of the cities of Rajasthan. There are neither good doctors nor proper medical staff in these areas. Quack doctors take advantage of this and play with people’s lives.
