Mumbai, December 1 (IANS). Someone has rightly said that films are the mirror of society. The work of films is not only about romance, action and drama but also from time to time to throw light on the problems that are happening in the society. Understanding the pain of AIDS patients is as difficult as sweetening the ocean. However, the film industry has produced many films which talk openly about AIDS.

AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) Day is observed across the world on 1 December. AIDS patients even today find themselves in the same sea of pain as they were yesterday. However, accurate information and awareness about this dangerous disease can prove to be two big weapons and in this case these films have worked.

These films not only touch the sensibilities of the patients but also seem to break many myths. In such a situation, take a look at the films made on this serious subject in Bollywood.

Actually, the hero of the film gets AIDS and the whole story turns in a different direction. The film stars Rinke Khanna and Sanjay Suri in lead roles along with Dino Morea.

Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan starrer film ‘Phir Milenge’ was released in the year 2004. The theme of the film can indeed be called brilliant.
