Jaipur : BJP has announced candidates for 6 out of 7 assembly seats regarding the by-elections in Rajasthan. After which voices of protest have started rising everywhere. However, the BJP high command is busy controlling the drama of the rebels. Most of the rebellious voices have been raised in Ramgarh, Jhunjhunu, Dausa and Deoli-Uniara assembly seats.
‘Jai Ahuja’ became rebel from Ramgarh
The rebellion against Ramgarh candidate Sukhwat Singh has intensified. Many party officials have submitted resignations. Jai Ahuja, who was a candidate in the last assembly elections, called a meeting of workers in the morning. It was decided that whether Jai Ahuja contests the elections or any other person from the entire society, only he will be supported. It will be approved on Tuesday. Jai claimed that all the five divisional presidents and the executive of the area have sent their resignations to the district president and the state president. On the other hand, Jai Ahuja’s uncle and former MLA Gyandev Ahuja said that he is a soldier of BJP, but will not support Sukhwant Singh.
‘Nishit Chaudhary’ will contest elections from Jhunjhunu
Nishit Chaudhary Bablu, who was the party candidate in the assembly elections in opposition to Jhunjhunu candidate Rajendra Bhambu, has announced to contest the elections as an independent and file his nomination on October 23. Earlier, he called a meeting of supporters, in which he said that it is wrong to give tickets to those who worked to defeat BJP. During this time, many party officials, sarpanch and panchayat committee members also submitted their resignations to Chaudhary.
‘Narendra Meena’ will contest from Salumber as an independent candidate!
After the ticket was given to Shanta Meena, wife of late MLA Amrutlal Meena from Salumber, voices of rebellion have started rising in BJP. Till now, Narendra Meena and his supporters, who have been making a strong claim against BJP, have expressed deep displeasure. Contender Narendra Meena cried bitterly in a meeting held in Salumber on Sunday regarding this. Narendra and his supporters have given a 24-hour ultimatum to the party. In protest against making Rajendra Gurjar the candidate from Devli-Uniyara, a young man Pramod Meena climbed on the water tank in Uniyara and did not come down till night. He demanded that Vijay Bainsla be given the ticket.
BJP will do damage control
After returning from a foreign tour, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma reviewed the by-election preparations at the BJP headquarters. During this time many big leaders including State President Madan Rathod were present. The party will soon intensify campaigning in the assembly constituencies.
