Thief who stole cattle in Barmer arrested after 4 months

Barmer : Gida police of Balotra district has arrested an accused involved in a goat stealing gang. The accused was absconding for four months. At present, the police is interrogating the accused about what he used to steal the goats. Till now three accused have been arrested.

According to the police, Lakharam son of Tejaram, resident of Gida Khokhsar, had given the report on 22 July 2024. In which it was told that on the night of 21st July, they had tied the goats and goats in the enclosure and slept there. When I went to milk early in the morning, I saw that some goats were outside. The door of the enclosure was open. Out of total 25 cattle, 12 were missing. When I looked around near the fence, I found footprints of two people. Tire marks of the vehicle were also visible on the road. With the intention of stealing, 8 goats stole 4 goats. Police registered a case on the report and started investigation.

Gida Police Station Officer Devaram said – Reached the incident site and inspected the spot. People nearby were interrogated. By forming a team at the police station level, the incident of theft was revealed on the basis of technical and information. Earlier accused Mahendra Bharti son of Kumbh Bharti resident of Chaba Shergarh Jodhpur and Raju Singh son of Bhakar Singh resident of Khoksar Gida were arrested. Those who were produced in the court were sent to jail. Dawood Khan, son of Phuse Khan, resident of Simrakhian Purohitan Mandali Balotra, involved in the case, was arrested after four months.
