Banswara : These days the education department is doing many innovations to give admission to students in government schools. But there is a government school in Banswara, a tribal district of Rajasthan, which has become a favorite of thieves. For the past one month, some unknown people come here at night and steal and go away. The situation is such that in 30 days, theft has taken place here thrice, in which the thieves have fled with goods worth thousands of rupees.
3 What did the thieves steal?
This government school is a part of Badgaon Gram Panchayat under Sadar police station area near Banswara city. The name of the school is Government Higher Secondary School. Thieves have committed a theft here last Tuesday night as well. On receiving information about the theft, Sadar police station police also reached the spot and inspected the spot. Principal Priya Kalauva said that this is the third theft incident in this month. Earlier, thieves stole inverter, battery, 2 CCTV cameras and 40 inch LG TV. Last night, the office lock was broken and the stuff kept in the cupboard was stolen.
Fear created by serial thefts
Despite being on the main road, there have been a series of thefts in this school, which has raised questions about the security of the area. Villagers said that due to the frequent incidents of theft in the school, teachers are scared and panic has started spreading in the village as well. Due to this, the villagers are now questioning the police officers and demanding that the accused be caught and punished as soon as possible.
Complaint not lodged yet
The school has verbally informed the police that on July 7, thieves stole the LED TV from the school. After this, on July 19, the thieves stole the inverter and battery. Then on July 30, CCTV cameras and mid-day meal material were stolen. The school has not yet filed a written report. It is being said that a complaint in this regard is to be submitted to the police this evening.
