Thieves gang active in Jaipur wedding season, theft incident in 4 houses

Jaipur : Jaipur With the beginning of the wedding season, these days people are busy in marriage ceremonies, taking advantage of which gangs of thieves have also become active. When families are busy with weddings, they break the locks of abandoned houses and steal jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees. The police are troubled by the continuously increasing incidents. Four incidents of theft have been reported in the city on Saturday-Sunday alone. Here, after the case was registered, the police have started efforts to catch the thieves. Balwan Singh, a resident of Sumer Nagar, has lodged a report of theft in the house at Muhana police station. He had gone to the wedding along with his family on Saturday. When we reached home early on Sunday morning, we found the locks broken. Thieves also stole valuables worth Rs 98 thousand and jewelery worth Rs 3 lakh from the house.

Thieves entered the house of retired High Court judge Vishnu Kumar Mathur in Mahesh Colony located in Jyoti Nagar police station area on Sunday night. The thieves first broke the camera. After this an attempt was made to break the door of the house. The neighbors woke up due to the sound. When he called out to the family sleeping inside the house, the thieves ran away. After this, the family members checked the CCTV camera and found it broken. In the footage, faces are seen covered.

Sushil Kumar, resident of Kusum Vihar Ramdev Colony, has lodged a report of theft in the house at Ramnagariya police station. He works in a private company. The family had gone to a function on Sunday afternoon. Seeing the deserted house behind, the thieves broke the locks and entered the house in broad daylight. The cupboard was broken open and 3 gold chains, 4 rings, a pair of bracelets and cash were stolen.

Tarun Jain resident of Ganesh Nagar Murlipura has lodged a report in Murlipura police station. He had gone to his in-laws’ house in Alwar for the wedding. Thieves attacked the deserted house from behind on Saturday night. The thieves scattered the entire household’s belongings and stole a gold mangalsutra, two pairs of gold earrings, a silver bowl, a silver spoon, a silver glass, two silver bangles and two mobile phones.
