Jodhpur News Desk: Two servants working in the house of retired Additional SP committed robbery in Jodhpur. The accused made the daughter-in-law of the retired SP present in the house unconscious by feeding her intoxicants. After this they ran away with the gold and silver jewellery. The servants had called accomplices from outside for the robbery. When the retired SP reached home, he found his daughter-in-law in an unconscious state. On receiving information about the robbery, the police immediately became active and chased the accused and caught them from Bilara. The incident took place in BJS area.
Nepalese servants mixed intoxicants in food
According to the information, the house of retired Additional SP Chandan Singh is in street number-12 in BJS Colony. At around 12 noon on Thursday, his daughter-in-law was alone in the house of the retired Additional SP. Nepalese servants mixed intoxicants in his food and fed him. The servants called their associates from outside and looted the gold and silver jewelery kept in the house and ran away. When retired Additional SP Chandan Singh reached home at around 2 pm, he found his daughter-in-law in an unconscious state, who was admitted to the hospital. On receiving information about the robbery, the police immediately reached the spot and checked the mobile locations of the servants. When the mobile was found switched off, teams were formed and searched. The teams searched the bus stand and railway station.
Police caught 8 people from different places
During this time, police received information that the accused had gone towards Jaipur route. On this, the police team chased and caught two servants from Bilara in a bus. During this time it was revealed that 6 more people were involved in the robbery along with them. Of these, 2 accused fled in a private car. The remaining 4 were caught by other buses.

Mahamandir police station officer Shivlal Meena said- Kajal and Raj used to work in Chandan Singh’s house. Seeing the opportunity, they drugged Chandan Singh’s daughter-in-law and ran away after looting gold and silver jewellery. When Chandan Singh reached home, he got information about the robbery. On receiving the information, the police immediately started searching for the servants and caught them from Bilara. The accused were planning to flee from Delhi to Nepal via Uttar Pradesh via Jaipur.
