Jaipur : Class III teachers who were waiting for transfers since the formation of BJP government in Rajasthan have got a big shock. Bhajanlal government has made it clear that there is a ban on transfers right now and transfers of Class III teachers will also not happen right now. Let us tell you that after the change of power in Rajasthan, there was hope that the ban on transfers would be lifted. But, now even under the rule of the new government, the answer to the transfer of Class III teachers has not changed. During the question hour in the assembly on Thursday, MLA Kailash Verma had asked the question whether the government is considering the transfer of Class III teachers? If yes, then by when will it be possible and if not, then why? On which Education Minister Madan Dilawar said in a written reply that at present there is a complete ban on the transfer of all officers / employees of the state government. Regarding the transfer, the process of making a policy by inviting the views and suggestions of the general public, educationists and educational organizations is under consideration.
Many times policies and formats were made
1994: A committee was formed in 1994 under the chairmanship of former education secretary. This committee prepared the draft. But the report could not be implemented.
1997-98: Efforts were made to bring a policy but nothing happened. This year separate instructions were issued regarding transfer
2005: Guidelines were issued to provide relief in transfers of teachers.
2015-18: Another committee was formed along with the ministerial committee for transfers. But the format could not be implemented.
2020: Committee was formed in January. Committee submitted its report in August. But, it was not approved by the cabinet.
2024: Action to formulate policy regarding transfers is under consideration
Transfers were last opened during Vasundhara Raj
It is worth noting that the last time transfers were opened in Rajasthan was during Vasundhara Raj. After this, the previous Gehlot government did not make any third class transfers. In such a situation, teachers were hopeful that the ban on transfers would be lifted after the change of power in Rajasthan. But, the Bhajan Lal government has not taken any decision on this yet.
