Rajasthan : Monsoon has arrived in Rajasthan. Now the public is waiting for rain in their district. The Meteorological Department has just issued an Orange Alert. Under which there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in 12 districts. Also, one or two rounds of heavy and torrential rain can also occur. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, there may also be thunder and hailstorm. A warning of strong thunderstorm with lightning has also been issued. During this time, the wind speed is likely to be 30-40 KMPH. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has also issued a Yellow Alert. Under which strong winds will blow with thunder at some places in Sikar, Pali, Bhilwara, Jaipur North, Tonk, Jodhpur, Chittorgarh districts. Whose speed will be 20-30 KMPH. Also, a weather alert has been issued for light to moderate rain.
Monsoon gained momentum in eastern Rajasthan
Monsoon is advancing rapidly towards eastern Rajasthan. Monsoon has covered seven districts. These include Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jhalawar, Baran and Kota. Rain continues in these districts. At the same time, before the arrival of monsoon, heavy rain has started in other districts of eastern Rajasthan.
Highest rainfall recorded in Dholpur was 80 mm
During the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 80 mm was recorded in Dholpur. Bharatpur received 65 mm, Barmer 32.5 mm and Chittorgarh 27.8 mm of rain. According to the Meteorological Centre, monsoon will cover entire eastern Rajasthan in the coming 3 days. Monsoon is expected to arrive in Jaipur by June 28.
