This dangerous disease has spread in the tribal areas of Rajasthan, know its symptoms and prevention

Banswara : Banswara district of Rajasthan is known for its tribal dominated area. A serious infection is spreading rapidly here. The District Medical Officer has checked more than 9 lakh 50000 people in the entire district and out of these, about 700 people have been found infected with this serious disease.

Deputy CMHO Dr Rahul Dindor says that this is sickle cell anemia, a type of blood disease. In this, many serious problems are occurring every 2 to 3 months like joint problems, nerve pain, kidney problems, continuous watering in the eyes and poor vision, excessive bleeding in the slightest injury. The big thing is that after the complete treatment and the patient being completely cured, this problem is occurring every third month. After this continuous problem, when the patient’s blood sample was taken and checked, the anemia related problem came to the fore.

700 people found infected with anemia

Dr Rahul said that so far about 700 people have been found infected in the entire Banswara district. Their treatment is going on continuously under the supervision of government doctors. They are falling ill again and again. The biggest thing is that the average age of this disease is between 42 years to 48 years. The number of women is more. But patients of every age are present. They are being treated. About 80 percent of the patients are from the tribal belt, which includes towns and villages like Ghatol, Kushalgarh, Sajjangarh, Talwara, Anandpuri, Arthuna, Bagidora, Banswara, Chhoti Sarwan, Dhadi. The government is sending medicines and injections for treatment. The patients are being constantly monitored. They are being kept away from other people. Apart from this, a warning has also been issued not to marry positive people.
