Jaipur : the area of Govardhan Parikrama Marg in Rajasthan, the center of religious faith, will now get world class recognition from the point of view of religious tourism. The government will develop this area as a new center of crafts and architecture of Braj region along with amenities. CM Bhajanlal Sharma has had a detailed discussion with an architect regarding this. Under this proposed project, the Rajasthan area of Govardhan Parikrama will be developed as a religious city. Here facilities like Vedic University, water front development, green belt development, theater related to Krishna Leelas, cow shed and bus terminal and parking for passengers will be available.
Krishna’s statue will also be built
In this project, a 100 meter high giant statue of Lord Krishna will be constructed. There are also plans to develop 84 Kos Parikrama Marg and develop a new township for several religious places. On completion of this project, local people will also get employment.
Parikrama route will be widened
Under the project, the Parikrama pedestrian path will be widened. The buildings to be built on either side of it will be an unmatched example of the craft and architecture of Brij. The government will restore the original form of Apsara Kund and Naval Kund. The famous Shrinathji temple and Narasimha Avtaar temple will also be decorated with architectural art. This project will be completely environment friendly and will completely follow the parameters of National Green Tribunal (NGT).
