Tonk : Deepa Sahu, a famous social media influencer from Rajasthan, died due to cobra snake bite. Deepa Sahu was a resident of Ghad village in Tonk district. She was very active on social media. On Saturday morning, Deepa Sahu was cutting fodder for her cow. At that very moment, a cobra snake bit Deepa’s leg. Hearing Deepa’s loud scream, people from nearby areas came running. Everyone together killed the snake. The family immediately took Deepa to Kota hospital in a private vehicle. But Deepa Sahu died on the way before reaching Kota. On reaching Kota hospital, doctors declared her dead.
Family’s mistake costed heavily
According to doctors, the first one hour after a cobra snake bite is the golden hour. In this one hour, anti-venom serum is administered in any government hospital. This can save the life of the victim. Anti-venom serum is available for free in all government hospitals. There is a discussion that if the family had taken her to Duni, Deoli or Tonk instead of Kota, then perhaps Deepa Sahu could have been saved.
