Pali : A panther fell into a 70 feet deep well in search of prey in Bera Hanumanji Wala area of Barod village of Desuri subdivision of Pali district. On Tuesday, the fourth day, the team tranquilized it and took it out. After this, the injured panther was brought to the rescue center of Desuri Forest Range Office. Where it was treated under the supervision of a veterinarian. A panther fell into a dry well in a field three days ago in Bera Hanumanji Wala area of Barod village of Desuri subdivision in search of prey. To rescue it, special shooters Banshilal Sankhla and Ramratan Vishnoi of Jodhpur Machia Wildlife Park were called. While for the last two days, efforts were being made to rescue the panther by lowering the cage into the well, but the leopard did not come into the cage. On Tuesday, the officer sat in the cage and descended into the 70 feet deep well. Seeing the opportunity, he was tranquilized. After which he was put in a cage in an unconscious state and taken out of the well. After this, the injured panther was brought to the rescue center of Desuri forest range office. Where it was treated under the supervision of veterinary doctor Natharam Chaudhary.
The panther attacked the cage twice
To tranquilize the panther, the officials descended into the well in a cage. During this, the panther panicked and attacked the cage twice and then went back and hid in a cave in the well. After this, it was tranquilized when it got the chance. During the rescue, a large number of villagers gathered to see the panther. Many people were also seen making videos.
