‘This is what happened’ After Udaipur, the teachers’ wisdom stopped the knife incident in Banswara, a 17-year-old innocent was in trouble

Banswara : Recently in Udaipur, Rajasthan, after a dispute between two school students, one student stabbed another student with a knife. Due to this, the student was badly injured. After this incident, there was a communal dispute in Udaipur and the situation in the district became serious. The injured student later died on 19 August during treatment. After this, the situation became more serious. However, after administrative alertness, the matter has calmed down a bit. But this incident was being repeated again in Banswara. Thankfully, the school teachers took the initiative and averted this incident.

The Udaipur incident had shaken everyone when the injured Devraj died. A small dispute between small children became so big that it became a matter of life and death. The light of a family was extinguished. But perhaps no lesson was learnt from this incident. Now the same incident was about to happen in a government school in Banswara district.

The student brought a knife to school

In Banswara district’s Government Higher Secondary School Kupada, a student had a quarrel with his classmate and was planning to kill him. With the intention of killing his classmate after school hours, he came with a knife and started fighting in front of the school. However, on getting information about this, the principal immediately showed alertness and with the help of other teachers and students, overpowered the accused student and handed him over to the police.

Case filed against the accused student

The principal told that after school hours, a student brought a knife with him to kill his fellow student after a quarrel in the class. After school hours, they started fighting in front of the school premises gate. Due to the alertness of the school management, teachers and students, the accused student was caught and handed over to the police. To maintain law and order, the police arrested the accused student under Section 126-170 B.N.S.S. Whereas, after the knife was recovered from the accused student, a case was registered under Section 4/25 Arms Act and the investigation was given to ASI Mahendra Kumar.
