Jodhpur : For the first time in the state, the course of Bachelor of Planning i.e. B.Plan is going to start at the level of government colleges. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved MBM University of Jodhpur for this. The university will start the admission process for B Planning for 60 seats from this academic session. 12th pass students will be given admission on the basis of JEE Mains marks. MBM University has also formed a new faculty Architecture and Town Planning and a new department Planning Department for this. In view of the increasing population, good engineers will be available for urban planning in the coming days.

Studies will be divided into 8 semesters

This course will be divided into 4 years and 8 semesters.
The first 4 semesters will cover basic principles, techniques of planning.
The 5th and 6th semesters will focus on studios in urban context and application oriented theories.
In the 7th semester we will study theory subjects with emphasis on governance and finance.
An independent scientific research will be conducted in the 8th semester.
